Basically the sphere is a representation of a 'God' (which is a popular thing to do, I believe) and the 'tendrils' coming from is like the will of this 'God' reaching downwards into something.
At least, that's how I imagined it was supposed to look like. The idea was more about deciding how I wanted the shape to look like than trying to make any statement about the nature of God or anything like that.
(-I think a dude who studied butterflies discovered a new species and named it somelatinysoundingthingee-Jehovah-)
Did you know they have discovered an Egyption inscription that mentions a Bedouin-worshipped 'Jehovah' like 200 years before Ramses II?
This means (by implication) that Yul Brynner and Moses could never have looked eachother in the face as Cecil B. DeMille (and many more) thought.
-If you have no idea what I'm talking about, sorry, don't pay me any mind...aheheh.
